WHAT IS THE ROTARY YOUTH EXCHANGE PROGRAM?

  • Rotary Youth Exchange Program (RYEP)is an internationally recognized 11 month  program for study and travel abroad for high school students.

  • Students must be at least 16 and no older than 18 ½ at the time that the exchange begins, which will be in early to mid-August 2025.

  • RYEP students are selected and sponsored by a local Rotary club in their home community and are hosted by a Rotary club abroad.

  • Students will, live, study and experience all facets of another culture. The exchange is a total cultural immersion including learning another language.

  • The Rotary Youth Exchange Program represents Rotary’s belief that working and living together, we build a better world one student at a time.

WHAT IS ROTARY?

  • Rotary is a global network of 1.4 million men and women who are business,    professional and community leaders.

  • Rotary provides humanitarian service, encourages high ethical standards, and builds goodwill and peace in the world.

  • Today there are more than 35,000 local Rotary clubs in over 200 countries and territories

  • In local communities and around the world, Rotarians conduct projects to address today’s pressing challenges including literacy, education, disease, hunger, poverty, lack of clean water and environmental concerns.
